VICTORIA BECKHAM's representatives have laughed off rumours she is set to star in HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3: SENIOR YEAR - despite the film's star ZAC EFRON urging movie bosses to sign her up.
The former Spice Girl and fashion icon had allegedly been slated to play a sexy English teacher in the latest outing of the hit Disney franchise.
And speculation heightened after the lead hunk Efron gave the Brit his backing to land a role in the film, saying, "She (Victoria) is hot, funny - and let's not forget her success with The Spice Girls."
However, the move has been dismissed by Beckham's spokesperson, who insists the star has not been offered a role in the film.
The representative says, "She has not been approached, but the Beckham boys are big fans of High School Musical."
Beckham isn't a newcomer to cameo acting roles - she appeared in an episode of hit U.S. show Ugly Betty, playing a diva bridesmaid.
